This page explains what information English for kids Ms Phượng (“the School”) collects when you use the engforkid.com website, how that information is used and what rights you have over it.

1. Information the School collects

The website collects only the following information:

• Information you choose to enter in the free trial registration form: your full name, phone number and any notes. There are no other fields, and only your name and phone number are required.
• The student code you enter on the progress look-up page: used to retrieve the teacher's comments for that pupil. The code is not stored together with the identity of the person looking it up.
• Anonymous visit statistics: each visit to the website is recorded once, together with the page address, along with the number of successful trial registrations. These are counts used to assess how well the website works, with no identity and no IP address attached, and they cannot be used to identify you.

The website does not ask you to create an account and does not collect email addresses, payment details or location data.

2. How the information is used

• To contact you with advice and arrange a trial class, as you requested.
• To show the pupil's progress and the teacher's comments when parents look them up.
• For internal statistics to improve the website's content and experience.

The School does not sell, trade or rent your information to any third party, and does not use your information for anyone else's advertising.

3. Where the information is stored

Registration details and learning records are stored in a Supabase database under the School's account. Photos (class photos and bank-transfer images attached to receipts) and data backups are stored in the School's Google Drive. All of this can only be accessed by the School's staff through an internal management system that requires signing in. The website and the management system run on Vercel's infrastructure.

4. How long the information is kept

Trial registration details are kept for as long as needed to advise and look after the pupil. Pupils' learning records are kept for the whole time they study with the School. You can ask for them to be deleted at any time, as described in section 6.

5. Children's data

The School's pupils are children, but all information is provided and managed by their parents or guardians. The School does not collect information directly from children through the website.

6. Your rights

You have the right to ask to see, correct or delete the personal information the School holds. Simply contact us through any of the channels below and the School will deal with your request within 7 working days.

7. Cookies and browser storage

The website does not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. There is only a small marker stored in your own browser (sessionStorage) so that the same visit is not counted twice; it disappears automatically when you close the browser and is never sent anywhere. If you choose a language (Vietnamese / English) using the flag button, the website saves that choice in a small cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) so it opens in the same language next time; this cookie contains nothing other than the language code.

9. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the School will update the content on this page, with the new date shown at the top of the page.
